Residential Rodent Control in Rimrock Homes
Most of our Rimrock work is residential. The housing mix here is different from the Valley: manufactured homes on pier-and-beam foundations, older ranch houses, cabins and a growing number of site-built homes on larger rural lots. That means rodents have more ways in, and the fix has to cover the skirting, the belly board, the attic and the outbuildings, not just the kitchen. Families here also care about safety, because kids and pets share the yard with the traps and bait stations. We use tamper-resistant stations and place traps where they cannot be reached. If you are dealing with scratching noises, droppings or a smell in the attic, we can usually get eyes on the problem the same day.
We inspect the attic with a flashlight, borescope and thermal imaging camera, then set a trap grid along the runways rodents use. In Rimrock, that usually means roof rats above the living space. We check traps every few days and remove carcasses so there is no odor.
We seal roof line gaps, vents, plumbing penetrations, skirting and belly board openings with copper mesh, steel wool, hardware cloth and foam sealant. This is the step that keeps rodents out of your Rimrock home for good, and we photograph every sealed point.
After removal, we bag droppings, remove soiled insulation, and treat the attic with disinfectant and enzyme cleaner. This clears the urine odor and makes the space safe again. Most Rimrock attic cleanups take one to two days.
Pack rats nest in rock outcroppings, woodpiles and sheds on Rimrock lots. We remove middens, clear the debris, and set bait stations and traps around garages, carports and outbuildings to protect vehicles and stored items from chewed wiring.
- Written estimate before work starts, with no surprise charges for trap checks during an active job.
- Tamper-resistant bait stations and carefully placed traps keep kids and pets safe in the yard.
- Exclusion work is warrantied, so if rodents get back in through a sealed point, we come back.
